Brown, Jr. Wins Heat; Wrong Tire Choice in Feature
(May 30, 2021) Russell Brown, Jr. and his #00 team hit the road and ventured south to All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Florida on May 28-29 for the 'Harvey Jones Memorial.' The Crate Racin' USA Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned the two-day extravaganza and 36 competitors signed into the pit area to do battle for the $10,000 top prize. Russell clicked off the second fastest time in his group during qualifying on Friday before securing a victory in his heat race. After starting Saturday's 60-lap headliner from the pole position, Russell unfortunately missed both the setup and his tire choice for the contest and eventually retired from the race in the twenty-second position. Top Five for Russell Brown, Jr. in Needmore Biggie!
(May 9, 2021) The RB2 Motorsports team invaded Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Georgia on Saturday night, May 8 for the 'Gene Maine Memorial.' The Crate Racin' USA Series presided over the action and a $10,000 payday was up for grabs. Russell Brown, Jr. won his heat race in preliminary action and later started fifth on the grid in the 60-lap headliner. The Valdosta, Georgia ace was then able to move up to fourth in the contest to trail only race winner Wil Herrington, Kyle Bronson, and Mark Whitener at the checkers. Brown, Jr. Forced to Scratch at Needmore with Clutch Woes
(April 26, 2021) Russell Brown, Jr., of Valdosta, Georgia, piloted another Super Street on Sunday, April 25 at Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Georgia. After finishing third in his heat race, Russell unfortunately ran into clutch problems leading into the main event. (April 18, 2021) Valdosta, Georgia standout Russell Brown, Jr. recorded his first victory of the 2021 campaign aboard Robby Metts' #37 Super Street at the newly-reopened Black Horse Speedway in Albany, Georgia on Saturday, April 17! Russell clicked off the quickest lap overall during the qualifying session to earn Fast Time honors and later led all twenty circuits in the main event to claim the $1,000 top prize! Brown, Jr. Starts 2021 Season with Strong Top Five!
(April 4, 2021) Russell Brown, Jr. and his #00 team lifted the lid to their 2021 campaign on Saturday night, April 3 at Patriots Park Raceway in Dublin, Georgia. The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) rolled into the Peach State to preside over the $4,000 to win 'Icebreaker 50.' Russell clicked off the fifth fastest lap in Group A during the qualifying session before running second in his consolation race. After starting the 50-lap season opener from the inside of the fourth row, Russell scooted past a trio of competitors during the contest to land in the fourth finishing position behind only race winner Pearson Lee Williams, Dalton Cook, and Wil Herrington!
